This is the sort of jail that exists only in women-in-prison films--everything is strictly verboten, lesbianism runs rampant, and the toughest gal in prison, Sofia (Sylvia Kristel), is feared by everyone. Naturally, no one knows Chris is incarcerated there--she can't send out any information, and the US Embassy has made no attempt to find her.

After finding out the sexual weaknesses of all the members, women are found and forced to be prostitutes at the party which will culminate in the death of everyone in the house. Lots of full-frontal nudity, soft-core sex and general perversion with a bit of sadistic murder and mayhem along the way.

Ross Ford plays the schools psychologist who tries to help her out. Lots of great tough cookie dialogue and rough hellcats that .scrap up three catfight.s a stabbing and one painful baseball bat beating Look for a young Sally Kellerman (billed 20th) in a small role as an inmate.

 DeSimone goes beyond parody, and enters a realm of homage and sheer debaucherous delight. Pat Ast is the lesbian guard in charge of Ilsa wannabe Sybil Danning's Reform School of cruelty. Every WIP convention is played out with over the top results.  Normally you get 1 or 2 catfights in a WIP film. In Reform School Girls you get half a dozen, multiple shower scenes, and several riots! And did I mention the nudity? From the fist 5 minutes we get full frontal, and they keep piling it on with quality naked body after another shown in the most lingering  exploitive fashion. Wendy O. Williams is hilarious as the 30+ year old locked down in the Reform school. She brutally controls the other inmates, and gets special treatment from Pat Ast.

At the school, she meets Vince's ex-girlfriend and several fights ensue before Donna realizes Vince isn't worth protecting.

This film is based on the story which happened in 1984 in Czechoslovakia. The main hero is Marika, 14th years old girl who was by mistake of authorities sent to madhouse for young. Here she founds that wards are terrorized by their tutors. Those tutors are also responsible for deaths of several wards due overdosing of medicaments. Marika tries to escape several times but she is always caught and sent back. She also tries to protect other kids against of tyranny. When she doesn't see a chance how to change the situation she lights fire and the madhouse burns.It is the end of the movie. However in the 1984 the story continued: 3 tutors were imprisoned for tyranny for 6 months to 1 year. Marika was imprisoned for 5 years (because she caused the fire).

Soon girls from the school appear to be running away, but a maniacal killer is the cause for their sudden disappearances. THE HOUSE THAT SCREAMED was a groundbreaking horror film that influenced many films including Dario Argento's SUSPIRIA.
